Poorly assembled planer not properly quality assured worked well after repairs
The planer blades were not parallel to the footplate so at the zero setting the planer cut a shallow wedge shaped gouge into the test piece of wood. I had to get a repairer to adjust the baldes and change the footplate so the planer didn't cut on zero. This was the second DC580 as the first one displayed exactly the same fault and I had to return it to the supplier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
