An economical way to get heat from a recycled product.
Although this product claims to burn "Extra Hot" (i.e to burn hotter than normal kiln-dried wood) I'm afraid that in our experience it doesn't quite live up to that claim - at least not in our wood-burner.
Having said that, a bag of 16 compressed coffee-grounds 'logs' do burn reasonably well, and is a good way to get heat from something that would originally have been thrown away into landfill. You will however need to light your fire with some wood to get the logs to burn properly.
The same product is available from several outlets here on eBay, at varying prices, so it's up to the buyer to choose the best deal for what you want. But coming in a bag like this, it's a sensible way to augment the material you burn to keep warm.
