WARNING: These tablets are over strength
I have used 25 mg Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride tablets regularly for a couple of years, to help me sleep. I bought these over the counter in the UK from reputable pharmaceutical companies: I know their strength and their effectiveness on my sleep patterns. BEWARE: These Kirkland tablets are at least 2 if not 3 times the stated strength. I had to cut them into thirds to get the same effect as a 25 mg dose of the proper medications. Best anthistamine for opioid itch
I needed a 1st generation antihistamine to treat pruritus from opioid medication. The products available in Australia were too sedating and didn't work that well. In desperation I ordered benadryl from the USA (only available as liquid in Aus). Too my relief this generic version. Works well with little sedation. The fact that it is less than A$20 delivered for 600 pills is remarkable.

Great for insomnia.
I find this product really helps me to get to sleep at night. I take two half hour before retiring and with a half hour am fast asleep. Before it took me 2 to 3 hours to fall asleep. When I wake up in the middle of the night I can fall asleep almost straight away.
