Card is in fantastic condition and served me well. The cooler is retrofit from a 2070 super, and performs as the original would - RGB lighting & fan control configurable through EVGA Precision app. Selling because I upgraded, message with any questions!
At first look this is a bit scary. It is a monster huge card designed to take up the entire design envelope in the computer. And then there is the liquid cooling apparatus with tubes, fan and radiator. There is no way, I thought, that contraption would fit into my Dell 8950 medium size cabinet. I should add that neither Dell nor EVGA have particularly helpful instructions about how to install the thing.
Upon investigation; however, it was a piece of cake. The Dell is a very modular design with precise dimensions. Taking my time, and with care and just a small screw driver, the card slid in with 1/8" of clearance. The fan/radiator replaced the case fan and the water tubes had just enough clearance to allow the case to close.
It worked perfectly on boot up. I easily downloaded the drivers and the card now drives all my games and related software with great frame rates and no stutter or any issues. It is surprisingly quiet as well.
I bought this for an old computer with an i7-6950X cpu to try to revitalize it to see if AAA games could be played on it. To my surprise, it performed very well at very decent frame rates. This was on an older 1080p monitor but playing MS Flight Sim 2020 at high end settings yielded frame rates of about 50fps. At ultra settings, frame rate dropped to a still playable 30fps. Never heard the gpu at all. I haven't tried it on a newer 2k monitor yet, but will in the near future.
