Great filtration & value
Been running this style of filter on my cars & bike now for years & would never go back. There is a claimed performance advantage but honestly I've never really noticed a difference one way or the other, however the filtration is superb. Where these excel (for me at least) is the savings over time. OK, price is 3 times a paper filter but these last a lifetime, literally. My last car ran one for 780,000 km & filter was still like new. Only ongoing cost is the spray on oil to coat it when you clean it but a $20 can lasts 8 - 10 cleans. Only down side is it adds 1/2 hour to servicing (3minutes to clean, 20 minutes to dry, 2 minutes to oil) but the savings are well worth it.
