This is a factory hinge it fit it works but it will fail in a few years again
This is a factory hinge for the Mazda tribute my year 2003. It fits and works. Because it is made of cheap pot metal, there is an electrolitic reaction with the steel screw and moisture, it corrodes and splits and the hinge fails and the window flops and could break. This is the second time I have had to replace the hinge. Not fault of the seller. The manufacturer made a crappy decision to use this cheap casting. Thus the bad rating and poor quality. But it is the only game in town so you have to buy this sucky part to keep on rolling. AND even though the Ford escape and Mazda share many of the same parts the Mazda hinge does not interchange with the Ford. THEY are different. Use anti-seize grease on the bolt and it will last longer
