Fujifilm finepix continued its line of finepix a205, a210 and the a405 these are great entry level camera for everyday use however there are cons about the finepix a405 as the a205, a210 and the a405 all share the exact same body its cons it shares with its other twins is the size and shape with is chunky 2 inches thick not including the lens protruding out however this design of being chunky and rounded off has proved to be durable over the years but as with ALL CAMERA's i wouldnt recommend you drop it for fun it would last you at lease 4 years that is my opinion on average use.
OK so I've got a super-whizzo digital cam that does eveything apart from push its own buttons. But I've also been looking for a knockabout digital camra that can produce decent snaps yet wouldn't leave me weeping if, heaven forbid, it got lost or stolen. The Fuji A405 seemed to fit the bill, and I'm also a long-time user of other Fuji products. Other eBay buyers where apparently sleeping, and I landed it for less that a tenner. It does everything I ask of it: decent sharp 6x4 prints from most ligbting conditions, and although I'd hate to lose it, it's hardly cost me a fortune. The only downside is that the flash is woefully undepowered. If I'd paid loadsamoney for it I've have been complaining, but the camera's about four years old and at the price I can easily live this.
Great camera, I'm a university student and on nights out have lost my camera on a few occasions, I wanted a cheap camera that I wouldn't be afraid to loose. This was perfect for me and for a 2MP camera it takes great quality pics. Although it is quite chunky in size it is still really light. I was really happy to get such a bargain
I believe they are good value for money, this one is simple to use and very good Idecided to buy this one as I own a S9500 which is great but I carry my A405 with me in the car for taken photos anytime I like, it takes excellent photos.
good size, good picture quality, not to heavy on batteries, simple to operate, robust enough for kidds to handle.
