Excellent replacement
I used this on my Triumph T120R, My bike never had a dipstick so it was a challenge to determine the oil level in the frame tank. This oil cap replaced the old one easily. Please note, it does not come with the gasket however I've not experienced any leaking from the cap during use. Also, the plastic "stick" will bend with use, making it easier to insert and pull out.

My 1971 BSA Lightning oil cap did not ha...
My 1971 BSA Lightning oil cap did not have a dipstick. This will be helpful in determining oil level. It’s designed to pivot straight down into “oil in frame” tank in order to check level while cap is installed at an angle. Seems to work well. Nice quality look to it. I’m satisfied.
