it was less expensive than local parts, if replacing the rear seat locks I recomend the purchase of the covers as part of the job.
I was glad to find the parts online rather than go through local dealer almost an hour away. The parts and replacement was easy. I had to do both sides and in the process of repair. I had found, that I needed to order the covers as well, by design they are nearly impossible to remove without breaking. I did both right and left, after I had the car detailed, found both side seat locks had been broken, don't have a clue when or where it happened. But the parts worked out great

Original equipment
This part breaks easily, so I would imagine that many replacements are sold. This is original equipment, and it's much more cost effective than buying it from the dealer and having them install it. Took about 10-15 minutes. It's not cheap but it's better than going to the dealer.
