So far, so good, as to the battery initial performance in my camera 3Ti. Unlike non OEM batteries with higher amp-hr specs, assumed thus better, indeed initially they did work fine. The OEM, did not suffer from the common failure after several charge/discharge cycles They did not degrade to offering only the eventual only holding a charge capacity for a max of photo shots min vs 100s when new. This superiority of the OEM battery has proven consistent with several purchases of both types. HOWEVER, the OEM battery that came with the new camera is still going strong (~5 years of occasional use), though all batteries were used with similar frequency. SO, this experience convinced me to order a genuine OEM battery, even though the amp-hr rating is less. So far, these new OEM batteries seem to work great. By the way, I had the same bad experience with non OEM batteries from multiple sources for laptops too. After a few months of use, these would consistently let the device die within 2 min after disconnected from wall charger. Initially, they would run 1.5hrs, similar to new standard battery. SO, I am back to buying only standard original manufacturer batteries instead of the supposed performance, higher amp-hr rated batteries. Again, so far so good on this recent purchase. I cant guarantee these experiences with genuine manufacturer battery replacements will compare with those that initially came with my electronics, but I can attest a consistently POOR life for the supposed high performance batteries. They consistently loose the ability to store a charge after fairly few cycles. Though no scientific testing comparisons were done on whether these performance batteries ran electronics longer when new. Notionally, they seemed about the same as the standard manufacturer battery (e.g. same number of camera shots or whether PC would play a full BD movie). So, bottom line, I would recommend not being enticed by description for batteries promising high performance. In my several experiences, they will ALL have fewer charge/discharge cycle capacity. I am going to stick with genuine manufacturer batteries. I would recommend buyers at least consider (and monitor) this issue when making their next replacement battery purchase.Read full review

Does not work at all with the stock cannon battery charger. So I bought them with no way to charge them now. I'm sure it takes some third party charger to actually work but i really don't feel like having to search for one. Overall they seem extremally cheap, and even if they did charge i can tell they wouldn't be reliable or durable in the first place. Rating 0/10

The genuine battery's work so much better and longer than knock-off brands. Worth the money.

Really useful addition to shooting with a DSLR; feels more weighty, rugged and ergonomically helpful in shooting shots for left or right handed people. Being able to use 2 camera batteries or the extra "AA battery" sled included, is a no-brainer for confident shoots. The bonus is that it gives your camera an instant "upgrade" factor and makes others think your a pro!

So I was very skeptical at first when I received the batteries I ordered. They come in brightly colored generic packaging but as soon as I put one in things ran smoothly. I charged it up to full and put it in my camera. I was able to take a total of 630 shots without flash on one and 437 with flash on another. Very happy with the product and the only con is the charge time is about 7 minutes slower than the Canon.
