Victorian Hobby Centre's strength was always its knowledge of new and old plastic models as well model rail. Fastway and TNT may vary. If you change your mind, then no worries! A bit of history.
Secure packaging, with detailed instructions for DC and DCC use.
Great to have ready to use finer scale track and points. Most rolling stock currently available are getting finer scale in their wheels and flanges, and can run on a finer track - with closer tolerances in points' check rails etc. Code 100 type track has been available since the 1970's, and rolling stock manufacture has advanced since then. The Code 75 looks much closer to the size of rail (100lb/yard) used elsewhere, other than Class 1 US railroads, which use a heavy 155lb/yard rail that scales about right to Code 100 model track.
All the features of the points and mechanism have been scaled down, which gives a finer view when looking at the track.
Well packaged item that prevents the delicate points from rattling about, and comes with detailed instructions, and a prewired point frog, so the DCC user can connect to the frog to switch polarity.
About the only criticism is that the rail fixings do not resemble Australian track with either rail plates and 2 dog spikes, or Pandrol clips.
