Wife and I each bought one about a year ago. I had to exchange mine after a couple weeks of it shutting off randomly. Figured I had a bad one, no big deal. Apparently not so. Still have trouble with random shut downs, and freeze ups. Hers quit doing updates shortly after that. Sometimes miss phone calls because it's reaction time is so slow. Hit answer... wait... hit again, again, then it answers. Not all the time but enough. Key guard dissappears and phone must be restarted, had it freeze up bad enough I've had to yank battery (waited over 30 min. one time). Both phones have had factory data reset more then once trying to help these problems with minimal results. Even with no extra apps very slow, very annoying. Shutting is down every night sort of helps (shuts itself off often enough).Good luck getting it to link with your computer, also works very sporadicly dowloading/uploading my e-mail from comcast. I just forward it to gmail (android issue?). Has all the features and funtions I want just operates like an old pentium 2/windows 98Read full review
To start, the phone was used. Other than that, the calls, texts and even web surfing was acceptable for a device of that age. The slide out keyboard makes it easier to type, particularly when using extensive typing like facebook, etc. Don't expect to play newer games on it. This phone was purchased for my son...perfect size for him. For us bigger guys this phone is tiny. My index finger covers like 2 or 3 apps. It is bulky to keep in pants pocket. Forget the back pocket. The thickness of this phone make it hard to carry on the person, so in a backpack or purse is better. The loudspeaker is a bit weedy. Then again, take into consideration the size. It does, however, have some pretty strong ports (charging and audio). The power button is on the front and not on the top or side like other phones. The volume buttons stick out enough to make them usable but not so much that they're easily pressed. The Samsung Interception is a great beginners phone. Not for the phone savvy user expecting to run KitKat on this device.Read full review
The phone is super slow, freezes up too often sometimes I have to remove the battery to even get it to come one. I like the slide out keyboard.. It is cool for what it cost but the touch button (back arrow) hardly ever works again it has to be powered off or the battery removed... I don't know what to tell anyone about purchasing this phone but I do know this is what I have experienced. Just as soon as I can I will be purchasing a new phone... The seller claim to be one that repair phones, but was unable to tell me what could be done for this phone, the only response I could get was uninstall the last app... NOT!!!! (Hadn't installed anything)...
Purchased one of these and was told it was good by Radio Shack. First phone froze on the update. Barely had phone a month. It downloaded the new firmware. Had phone plugged into power and it locked up mid update. Would not boot. Found out The download it made went corrupt bricking the phone. The second phone few months in started to get real slow. 4th moth in with this phone. Constant freezing. Had to yank battery constantly. All apps ran slow and actually miss calls cause it wouldn't let me answer. Freezing all the time. At the end I was actually on the phone with sprint. They had me do a factory reset. The phone rebooted. I was on the phone for bout 45 min. The last reboot took over 10 minutes for the phone to boot up. Sprint even said it was bad but only offered me a replacement of the same model. I ended up Ebaying a Hero HTC and ended up much happier customer.Read full review
My first smartphone. It is easy to use and worked great for the first few months. Now it freezes even after reboots and half of the time I can't answer calls because it is locked up. Good for texting but sometimes the texts don't go through. Slow on the internet.
I bought this phone because my friends have a i-pad which I thought was very cool except theres is not a phone, I looked on e-bay and found this samsung M910 which is the same as my friends i-pad but mine can be used as a phone. I use this phone all the time and I think this is a great phone and I love it. I will give my wife this one and going to order an other one. Only problem I'm having is I keep getting text message full and I keep getting this message and its driving me nuts. I'll go to a sprint store to see if they can figure it out.
I bought this phone, because i needed a phone desperatly and I thought this one was small and cute. This is the first smartphone I have used and it has been very easy going through everything in the phone, figuring out how to do everything. Battery life isnt all that great but other than that, its a great smartphone.
For an entry level android phone, the intercept packs a big punch. with all the apps that you can download from the market, you can make the phone to fit you. most of the apps are free which is a plus. the phone is ease to use. the only thing i don't like is the phone doesn't support flash but compare to instinct that i had for almost 2 years, not having flash is no big thing.
After having a 4G phone, this one comes across as being really stupid. I think the best feature of this phone is the ability to type on the keyboard or on the screen. However when you get any kind of apps on here for any use, it gets really slow and freezes a lot. Plus it comes with a ton of system apps that you cannot get rid of to clear up room.
At first this phone worked fine but after abt a month it quit working completely. However, it still plays music and sounds awesome and a few of he apps are pretty killer. When it was working it was a sweet little phone. Im sure if I would have bought it brand new never used it would have been fantastic. I wouldnt recomment a used one but I would recommend a brand new one.
