Apple products that are several years old were excellent several years ago. Now, with faster processors, they show their age. Such was the case here.

I bought this product beacuse it's handy to use when you study in the university, it's not as big as an laptop and it's easy to carry, but i also bought the ipad 2 because i like the apps that the appstore offers. + The good thing with the ipad 2 is that it's easy to learn how to use it and almost all ages can master the skills that is needed to use the ipad. + As mentioned above, great apps + nice and clear display + nice design - Flash player is missing, and this is the main reason why it got 4 out of 5 stars, all other tablets and smartphones have flash player but not the apple product, that's not good. - i dont like the need to use Itunes, i just want to be able to pull music and videos and such directly into the ipad without needing to use itunes because i hate itunes. - many restrictions, you have to live in the "apple world" and you cant use the ipad in the ways you like, changing the design and other stuff. this is a short review and there is more to cover but this is all i could write since im to tired to write more.Read full review
If Apple finds a way, or decides to put Flash onto it's devices it will truly rule the world. The iPad 2 is lighter and has a longer battery life than it's only competition the Motorola Xoom, and with that one very small exception the iPad 2 blows away the Xoom in every regard. The App Store alone was enough to make me decide on the iPad as my tablet, but the brighter screen, all the third party cases/protectors, the improved battery life, and black and white Protection Plan, have me sold on top of sold. Plenty of storage, and once Apple introduces the iCloud in the fall it will free up all that much more space that your iTunes once demanded. Faster than my (new)Dell laptop, even coming off of an internet hotspot from my cell phone (Verizon Service). Truly an impressive device, i highly recommend it, if it only had a Flash player there would be no need to even consider any other tablets.Read full review

If you have a desktop, consider getting the iPad. I replaced my laptop with the iPad and I am very satisfied. Great device for students because of portability. Being able that've it on your lap during lectures is great because you can follow lectures and refrence content on the web with ease. At home the iPad is great for anything from playing games, streaming video to just browsing the web. Web browsers available in the app store make viewing flash content possible so there is not much content the iPad can't access. The iPad is probably the greatest piece of technology I have ever owner.
This I pad does everything. I downloaded lots of games for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it. It is easy for him to use. He had no trouble navigating between screens. It is marvelous. The size is perfect. I did purchase a "kid proof" cover for it so he doesn't break it when he drops it (and he does) It works perfectly. I'm so happy with this purchase. Now I can have my own I Pad for myself again instead of having to share mine with him!

Let's start off by saying that I was not impressed with the display of propoganda that on the 11 of march when the must have iPad 2 was released. Lines that circled the block and attitude with anxious apple goers to add to the frustration. Added with lightweight and a long battery life this unit keeps up with the best. However with high deman the quality department may have been limited. This is my second apple product including the iPhone 4. I raved over the iPad and decided to wait for the next generation, since the original iPad was a beta bug for apple. First, I will note the PROS because apple makes some great products and I don't want to take that away from them. The battery life is outstanding. I am on day number 3 and still have an impressive 27% battery life. The screen is very sharp and responsive to the touch. Additionally, I could hold this thing all day without getting tired because it is next to being weightless and with the addition of the smart cover very logical to hold. Response is great. The processor is very quick and I have not experienced app hangs or delays to date. Also, currently no software crashes. CONS: besides the obvious differences between the original, the iPad 2 has a rear facing and front facing camera. The manufacturer claims HD recorder @ 720p, but from my experiences I would be a sceptic to these accusations. Video seems to be very dull and grainy, nothing close to the HD that I am used to watching. Let's face it, face time picture quality is set back a generation. The front facing camera is terrible quality. That equivalent to my old nokia, seriously. Overall I give the iPad 2 a 5 out of 10. Apple must have really rushed to get these things out. Mine has the bleeding light issue in the corners that everyone is crying about. This proves quanity overmatched quality in this release. My suggestion to everyone would be to wait for number 3 to come out before you seriously consider dropping 600 bucks on this thing. My predicition would be much higher resolution cameras tacked on with a retina display. If you absolutely cannot wait, give it a few months, let demand die down a little, and perhaps they will get the quality department under control. Good luck and happy bidding!Read full review
This is a great value if you want quality for and save money. Have used my IPad 2 for over 2 weeks now and have really enjoyed. I strongly recommend this unit. It is reliable, has a large display screen making viewing easy and enjoyable. The battery stays strong after using all day long. It was very easy to setup and link to my other Apple products!

I got a iPad to double as an comic/manga reader and portable digital sketch pad, and it became so much more. The multiple capabilitys as of streaming video from my iMac or even using it as a slave device just scratches the surface. Magazine subcriptions, Netflix, and hundred of thousands of apps. I love the easy access. Now just to get it back from my wife.
