Works well, it a little odd that they scan image up after using 2 other VuPoint scanners that scan with image down, which I am still using. It just makes you have to remember. If you are buying it for WiFi feature you will probably disappointed, it has very limited WiFi usage, To me I bought it for that reason, but it did not do anything I could use as far as the WiFi is concerned. Other than that it works different than my previous scanners as far as tranfering images to computer. The previous VuPoint scanners such as PDS-ST420 made USB link when plugged in, this one you can leave it plugged in and you can switch between modes of operation as in turn on, transfer data, but it is automatically charging when plugged in. Over all as far as scanning is concerned it works as well as the other 2 VuPoint scanners I have. One of them I have used for 5 years and am still using, I bought the next one because I was afraid the first was going to fail, just from daily use, but so far its still working fine. I can only attest that the VuPoint scanner seem to be of good quality and will work well straight one sheet scanning. PS: don't run anything with sticky or adhesive through them unless you are technically able to disassemble, clean and reassemble scanner. I have had to do that when I accidentally ran some documents with sticky through them.
I work in the field. Writing reports for clients who need the original paperwork. I can easily scan and then either transfer the report to my phone to email or save in the cloud. When I get back to the office I can simply hook the USB cable to my computer and store the reports in a file faster than typing this review. As for color of the unit... that's up to your preference. If you're new to this don't worry it's really easy with lots of utube videos to help if you need any. Hope this helps. You won't be sorry.
