I have owned the 'black' version of this mill for some time and can highly recommend for use with Black Peppercorns. The method of changing the grind-size is really a winner for me.
I then bought the "white" mill for rock salt – but I think it was the wrong time of year (late summer) AND it's far too humid where I live (coastal NSW/QLD border). The salt will grind but has trouble falling down. Salt tends to get sticky in any dispenser with humidity. Since autumn it's now drying out and the action is improving.
