Caroline Myss earned her B.A. in journalism, her M.A. in theology, and her Ph.D. in energy medicine.In 1982, she began working as a medical intuitive, one who sees illness in a patient's body by intuitive means.In 1994 she stopped giving such readings (which Harvard-trained neurosurgeon C. At least: really is useful for your health.
I almost ranked it "good" instead of "excellent" as this self-help book is vulnerable to the shortcomings of that genre. But it really is useful to your health. Myss gets a lot of things right. Her "woundology" section is an eye-oppener that everyone should pay attention to. Sometimes she's a little bit of a simpleton on theological comments, but one can look past it. She claims to be a "medical intuitive" with keen perceptions of people's condition. Of course there is no way for the reader to confirm or deny that. I take it on "probationary trust". But many useful insights in the book are sound in their own right and do not stand or fall on her claim. Her amalgamation of the Christain sacrements, the tree of the sephiroth, and the chakra system is interesting. I have enough background in all of this to assess it, and have no serious qualms with the basic premise of it. She is at least in part onto something here. But her level of understanding is a little anemic for tackling such an ambitious scheme, and she is sloppy in places, misses some major insights, makes minor mistakes, and reveals that she is not on a high enough level to speak with real authority and real knowledge on such matters. But that said, it is all worth it. Don't read this book uncritically, but read it and use it and apply it to yourself. You will be glad you did. Steve AdamsRead full review

Get over it!
Here Caroline tells us of her childhood and explains why people lead with pain. Why we hold on to our pain and what it does for us. When we let go the healing can begin. This book helped me tremendously.
