Totally recommend this novel to other Death Note fans. Basically kind of an alternate ending where L didn't die from his battle with Light and goes on to solve his final case. Some of the characters from the original show are briefly mentioned, but they don't make much appearances. I highly recommend also reading Death Note Another Note: Los Angeles BB Serial Murder Cases if you enjoyed this book.
