It arrived quickly and compared to similar looking products was very competitively priced. The assembly instructions were minimal and not really a lot of assistance. If you have trouble assembling Ikea products, this wine rack is NOT for you. Assembly is tricky and needs an absolutely flat surface if you want a finished product that is not skewed. I'd suggest that once the outside edges are partially complete, check the corners for right angles and the diagonals for equal measurements. keep doing this as it is assembled to maintain the square angles. Once assembled it is rigid and holds the 72 bottles without any trouble. A retaining clip to fix the top to a wall would be a useful addition to the package and would eliminate the risk of the full rack tipping over.

Floor assembly was diffucult to work out & recomend locking in each corner with a wooden support to hold it together before adding the remaining supports. After that install each subsequent layer using a mallet. I installed a removable ply wood top to hold opened spirit/wine bottles with the loss of 8 storage units but that is suitable for me. However, an extra non bottle layer for this without the loss of storage would be ideal. Paint or stain wooden supports before assembly if you want to match any existing furniture. Check item photo as this makes assembly somewhat easier to identify what the final product will be & be patient in assembly as it does take time to complete.

Impressed that the product was delivered in just 2 days! Took a while to put together but did assemble on a carpeted area which made it a bit more difficult. Perfectly fit into the area that I wanted and is very sturdy!!! Will buy another for my daughter's home for Christmas. Highly recommend the product. Pricing good!

I hate RTA products but this was a breeze to assemble, sturdy, and looks fantastic. Slightly larger bottles won’t fit - but if you’re like me, I had enough standard bottles to fill it!

Assembled this over about 1.5 hours. Just used a pair of gloves, although a rubber mallet would be useful if you are not too brawny. Currently sitting in my cellar and so far no issues. The quality seems equivalent to other racking I have seen, and once assembled felt secure to me. Very happy with it.

Love this product. Patience necessary and read instructions. Had no trouble putting it together ... very satisfying. Not difficult but recommend rubber mallet, hammer and old folded towel to get into bits that need a bit of extra help, leather or garden gloves as putting together top layer of metal tricky in places

The product is ok, but takes a VERY long time to assemble and you need to be quite handy to do so, some bits of wood split :-(

would be great if you provide 2 extra bits of timber. As one was already knotted and cracked. when i inserted the metal strap it broke in 2 pieces.

The wine rack is very strong and sturdy and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Looks stylish. It’s a flat pack so you do need to put it together, the only thing you need is a rubber mallet, it’s worth the effort for the price and takes an hour or two to assemble
