The transverse thruster can be installed either vertically or horizontally. By using O-rings in the housing cover and G-rings in the drive, the transverse thruster is 100% waterproof. It is driven by a 2-bladed paddle wheel, which sucks the water into the jet pipe and pushes it out again very effectively with relatively high pressure on the opposite side.
