This book has very useful information on many different aspects of tailoring a jacket, and has many helpful tips. I bought this book because I wanted some information on interfacing and lining, and it really did help me decide on which was the best product to use for my project, although there is so much more information on all aspects of tailoring a jacket or coat, and it is a great reference guide to anyone new to tailoring. It is not a step by step guide from the start to finish of the jacket, but it has all the information about linings, interfacings, fabrics, tools, collars, pockets, buttonholes and more. This is the first book I have on tailoring a jacket, and I found it to be very clear and concise. I would recommend this book.
