This is by far the best book on health I have ever read.
I bought this book because I am interested in natural supplements which enhance good health and improve the quality of a long and healthy life. It is amazing to find a book like this written by a cardiologist divulging such information. The back cover of the book points out there is new hope for preventng and treating heart disease. His solution is to maximise the amount of oxygen your heart extracts from your bloodstream by accelerating the rate at which your cells convert nutrients to energy He focuses on the supplemental use of three amazing bioenergetic nutrients: Coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine and D-ribose. The synergistic combination of these nutrients essentially charges up every body cell to function at optimal capacity. So, not only will you experience renewed heart health with all that energy, you'll also gain a greater sense of overall well-being. With the addition of magnesium, he calls the nutrients the awesome foursome There is so much valuable information and the ordinary person will have no trouble understanding most of it and in my opinion it is worth hundreds of times the cost of the book. The nutrients enable the body to perform at its best. He gives the dosage for aging persons to olympic athletes and others in between. He speaks about blood viscosity and has chapters devoted to each of the nutrients with vast amounts of info on the history and research into them.Read full review
