Paul Newman plays one of his best-loved roles as Cool Hand Luke, the loner who won't - or can't - bend to the arbitrary rules of his captivity. A cast of fine character actors, including George Kennedy in his Oscar-winning role of Dragline and the indelible Jo Van Fleet as Luke's mother, give Newman solid support.
What can I say? You just can't go wrong with Cool Hand Luke it is one of the best movies the Paul Newman ever played in. He plays A Man convicted of a minor crimes who goes to a prison Chain Gang Work Camp in the south where he engages Sometimes good sometimes not so good with various members of the prison staff and those he is living with while doing time. The movie is entertaining an amusing at times is Paul Newman and all the other characters make you believe that they are who they say they are. Although I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys good movies
