Probably the best demon genre blender since 1987's My Demon Lover. The comedy is more subtle here but still present. It's a fun blend of horror, fantasy, romance, and B-movie fun. Some great character actors show up, hell is actually pretty well done, and Angela Featherstone delivers a cool performance as a Demon coming to terms with modern earth culture, It's an underrated little DTV 90s gem. Well executed under clear budgetary restraints.
Pros: Interesting theme. The characters had an interesting slant to their personality which I liked. No famous actors but very good actors.
Cons: My original introduction to this movie was on TV where it was edited. While it was nice to see what the main actor, Angela Featherstone, looks like nude, it is not really necessary. The other negative is that the unedited version has a few images that flashed up showing where the inhabitants of Hell eat human hands and arms. Would a God we worship maintain a dialogue with what are essentially cannibals?
