Small and easy to use
This item should go in you pocket or backpack before starting any trip into the woods or unknown area. It is small enough to not be a burden and large enough to be easy to read and use. Just program it before you leave the car and you will always know which direction is home. It can also be used on small lakes to take you back to a fishing spot you had success in earlier.
