Best 70-200/2.8 on the market.
Honestly can't think of another way to get a good quality 2.8 telephoto for this price. This beats the older Canon/Nikon variants in AF speed and sharpness, and beats their current variants in price; with this being weather sealed as well, there really aren't any downsides to this lens. Sharp wide open, fast focusing, and works great with the Sigma MC-11 on my A7ii - I'd imaging it's similar on a Metabones too. Hard to go wrong with this Tamron, they knocked it out of the park with this G2.

This is such a great lens, high image quality, very sharp, and lower cost compared to Nikon and Canon brand even the quality a bit less compared to theirs brand, but with the cost it worth it.
