Somewhat disappointed
The elements in this toaster do not glow as red as previous toasters we have owned. Its seems a bit slow to toast. The result being that it tends to dry the toast out by the time it gets brown. This is of course dependent on the thickness and moisture content/freshness of the bread as to how dry it becomes. Also due to this we believe the reheating option tended to overcook the toast entirely. Overall it is not too bad and we are experimenting to see if we can learn and understand the settings more to get better results. One half of the toaster performed differently to the other with the same bread and settings. Perhaps that is just the calibration of the knobs or rheostat? Thought of sending it back but decided it's not worth the trouble. We'll persist for a while and if we don't get it humming better we might just get something else. Maybe we just got a bit of a dud and other units are fine. Dunno.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
