    decent product for the money with only one small hiccup

    got the carb, checked it over all looked good so i proceeded to install it on car. installation was simple but did have to make one simple bracket to attach throttle return spring. after everything was installed i tried to pump fuel into carb with electric pump. the pump would not shut off which lead me to believe that gas was not going into the carb. i moved the throttle by hand and didn't see any gas come out of accelerator jets. i pulled top of carb off to find that the needle valve that lets fuel into the float bowl was stuck. pulled off the inlet fitting which houses the needle valve and got everything to work. put it all back together and the car fired right up once i turned on the pump again. except for this small problem carb worked as expected.

    Carburetor was not the one in listing picture JUNK Air pockets in metal bad accelerator pump

    Carburetor was not the one shown in listing picture. Was D.O.A. out of the the box .. accelerator pump worked intermittently and couldn't get car to idle. Cheap metal had air pockets and bled through dumping gas into manifold, couldn't rev up They offered me $15 to keep carb Cheap foreign junk

    New 2 Barrel Carter Carburetor Missing place for vacuum line.

    It is a great carb, but it didn't have the vacuum port for the distributor. I had to change the base of the carb with my old one. Other than that the choke was having a few problems, but I think I got that adjusted right now.

    Well made copy of the original Stromberg carb. Fired right up and runs great. The choke linkage is different and won’t accept the Mopar choke clip on the rod. But other than that, works great for the price.
