di Oro Reusable K-cup Filter for the Keurig 2.0 Carafe works great! Here's a coffee brewing tip!
The di Oro reusable filter for Carafe brewing works perfectly in my Keurig 2.0 coffee brewer, no hacks needed, the machine recognizes it and the screen lights right up and says ready to brew. However, here is a tip for brewing for better tasting coffee! I tried using "regular grind" coffee and the coffee did not taste as good as when I used the smaller individual store-bought k-cups. I discovered after opening the lid of a store-bought k-cup that the coffee inside is a fine grind. I used my coffee grinder to reduce my 'regular grind coffee' to 'fine grind', which took just seconds, then put it into the filter. It made a huge difference in the flavor and taste of the coffee. The fine gold mesh on this reusable filter holds all the coffee in so no worries about that, nothing leaked out. The way the water processes through the filter, the brewing process seems to work better with a fine grind, providing you are a using a filter like this one. It was worth the extra cost to get a fine gold mesh filter. When I buy ground coffee again, I either will buy fine grind or will use my coffee grinder to reduce regular grind to fine grind. Keep in mind that not all filters are created equal, so 'fine grind coffee' may not work in other types of filters. Works on 2.0 (Solution)
Hey everyone! So like many of you, I was concerned when I received the error message that this device is not supported. Fortunately, I found an easy solution. I had previously purchased another carafe kcup called ecoflow and that one worked without issues. I noticed a sticker was located at the 9 o’clock position on the ecoflow, so I carefully peeled it off to keep the adhesive, and then I pressed it onto the Di Oro lid at the same position. Voila! Works like a charm. All the best!
