Great- cordless top of Dremel's line and great value. Only negative is that it only comes with a very minimal set of bits/accessories. I immediately purchased a set of collets, and an adjustable type chuck for using smaller bit drills and cutting bits.

While this tool seems to work, the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. I started a small job with it but had to get out the extention cords ard finish it with an OLD Black and Decker Dremel tool. It in definitely not worth the $100.00 it cost.

Best reason ever! You can buy new batteries when the old one wears out! Not many products have that feature, you either send them off (expensive) or throw them out and vow never to buy that product again! Or worse your in the middle of a project and the damn battery dies! and if your more than 50 feet away from a wall socket (which I usually am) a cord does you no good! but a spare battery does! I bought this and 2 extra batteries and I am HAPPY!

I've read negative reviews of this tool and all of the negative complaints are easily solved. Complaint... Battery doesn't last long. Solution...First off, charge FULLY! If you need the highest speed AND cordless accept lower battery life per charge. Complaint... Battery takes a long time to charge Solution... Get a spare battery pack. There's no free lunch, three 18650 batteries take time to re-charge, you want portability? pony up for spare battery packs. Complaint... Not enough torque for heavy jobs. Solution... Get a corded model. A 12 volt tool is not ever going to a workhorse. Complaint... The battery gauge isn't very accurate. Solution... The gas gauge on a $60,000 Mercedes is better? Get spare batteries. Complaint... The tool does not have a lighted tip. Solution... And you bought it? OK, get a cheap headlamp! Complaint... Too heavy and awkward to use. Solution... Gimme a break, use a rasp or hacksaw. Complaint... It gets hot Solution... Anything that uses power and performs work gets hot, check your high school science books for confirmation. Complaint... All tools do not fit the chuck. Solution... Go to the hardware store and get a second chuck. My comments... For light to medium grinding and polishing jobs where AC is not available or inconvenient to get a cord to this is a GR8 tool with long run time. If heavy service is needed accept that run time will be lowered, get spare batteries go forward and prosper :-) Read full review

I've had power cord rotary tools before. This is my first battery one. I don't know how i lived without it. Small holes. Burrs. Trim plastic. All those small jobs you never seem to get to.

This runs as well as the corded tools. You can wood carve with radical carbide bits for 40 minutes or more. I liked it's power well enough I bought another one. I can sit outside with a few extra batteries and carve all afternoon.

Lady friend used my tool and caught it in a blanket and not stopping it until it burnt itself up. Not wanting to pay for all the extras which I already had bought just the tool saved money and got the same unit as other one. Great value.

They work great...only drawback is short battery life. I'd recommend getting additional batteries especially if you will be using it a lot.

Just like new except for missing battery and accessories. No complaints at all. Best bang for the buck.

Portable and convenient. Could use more attachment variety. Don't need all of the sanders.
