I recently purchased the Link 20 because of its Google assistant capabilities along with bluetooth. This model has been discontinued, so I was a bit apprehensive. Few flaws not bad if you want to just listen to it at home not work
I do not like that it doesn’t hold memory of WiFi you have to go in clear everything pertaining to WiFi out and put the new in each time or just leave it when you get around the WiFi you put in it google will work It’s frustrating And you can’t get very far from the speaker with your phone if your Bluetoothing to listen to music it drops off you have to go back in and press play on your phone for such a large speaker it isn’t loud like mega boom It’s ok if your staying directly in that room or you don’t want to transport your speaker to work and home to want to listen to your musicVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The best portable SMART speaker.
Arguably the best portable SMART speaker. Sound is excellent and comparable to the JBL Charge 4 with possibly even better sound for "adult ears". Only two negatives 1. Still using MICRO USB and the wifi connect bootup takes about 10-15 seconds. Possibly a bit too much power for shared office spaces, but great for bedrooms and dorms. 9 out of 10 stars. Google's Casting Comes a Long, Long Way
Casting via Google's devices and services have come a long, long way. The JBL Link 20, which I've been using every day for the past month is proof of those advances. Setup and connecting are both flawless and effortless. Casting is more obvious. The JBL Link 20's sound output is, for the most part, good over the entire spectrum. It does, at times, sound muddy. Awesome!!!
I'm using these for the exterior part of a wi-fi whole house music system. I build zones using multiple Link 20's around the seating areas on my deck and I couldn't be happier with these. They are very easy to set-up and work flawlessly with my google home app. Batteries last all day and if it rains I don't have to worry about them. It doesn't have an app and doesn't have an EQ so all of it's setting are done through Google home and it's not even on the latest version. I was looking for a portable speaker and I struck Gold with the JBL Link 20 with Google Assistant .. they have been around for a few years so the price has dropped aprox 75% best thing I've treated myself to in years. It will beat all your expectations. Paid $47.99 a few years ago $199.99 same great features and sound..
