Clever design and fabrication
Went together well and works OK. Good design with boom able to fold back to avoid obstacle damage as well as up for storage/transport. Could be improved with non-drip nozzles. Spray pattern with all 8 nozzles working is fairly coarse and boom needs to be quite high for full overlap as spacing is 715 mm against standard 500 mm. 5 metre width is from outer nozzle to outer nozzle so well described. Coarse spray is probably necessary to avoid drift from greater hight and I look forward to seeing result from using Glyphosate in a pasture renovation scenario.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fails on a number of issues
There were a number of issues, firstly the frame to tank bolts were too short, a couple of the spray pipe to boom clamp bolts were missing. The boom isn’t rugged enough for uneven ground and the metal bends very easily if it bounces on uneven ground. The pump is self priming but won’t self prime after the second use. So you are boom spraying over nice flat ground it might be fine and I may of been unlucky with the pump and fortunately I had spare bolts. I wouldn’t recommend this for anything other than a large garden, and not for use on a hobby farm.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The manual could do with a bit more info...
The manual could do with a bit more info on how to put this together - a lot of it was guesswork on my part. Also the printing is too small without your reading glasses on - which I do not normally wear outside. Test with plain water before you put any weedicide in it - lots of parts mean lots of leaks if you dont get it right. Works well for us.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
