Great movie with good action and very young Australian actors
saw this movie many years ago and know the Glen Davis very well where it was filmed, looking forward to seeing it again, there is a good chase scene in the movie and the country up there is rugged and spectacular, the story is basic but very much in with the times of today with nuclear accidents, and it's an Australian made movie

THIS BLU-RAY REISSUE HAS MORE EXTRAS THAN THE DVD, 5 STARS FOR THE BLU-RAY
Umbrella ent' has reissued the 1980 classic THE CHAIN REACTION on blu-ray ABC coded with a new 1:85:1 HD transfer which does look amazing quality No Grain no Dirt about 9/10 PQ the sound mix is 2.0 master stereo mix which also sounds very Good 6-7/10 EXTRAS little bit more extras than the old dvd version for the first time on Disc the alternate rough cut of the film before it was released to Theaters this 94min rough cut in 1:33:1 ratio is taken from master VHS source so the picture quality is tolerable to watch i'd rate it 6/10 for picture quality the sound mix is Mono sound plus NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD extended interviews filmed back in 2008 more indepth interviews with Steve Bisley, Ana maria winchester, Director Ian Barry and producer Ross mathews total run time 75mins the interviews just continue after each other worth watching for sure plus the old extras carried over from the old dvd release Thrills and spills featurette goes for 33mins, plus Deleted/extended scenes in HD quality plus the original trailer, and VHS trailer, TV spots so the blu-ray is 10 times better than the old dvd cause of more extras
