Dire Straits, led by the incomparable Mark Knopfler, were one of the greatest groups of the late 20th Century. When they first appeared on the London live circuit, their timeless music, faultless musicianship, and memorable songs connected with music lovers. This was at a time when much of the music scene was consumed by punk and new wave. All albums have been remastered for vinyl by Bob Ludwig and pressed on beautiful 180gm vinyl. With all original artwork restored, the six albums are beautifully presented reissues of some of the most cherished recordings of music history. .

    A double vinyl LP worth every penny.

    I am rebuilding my vinyl LP collection after a number of years. When I discovered that brand new records were available from bands that I grew up with in the 60's I was a bit skeptical. But the guys at Record Shed changed my thinking. The Dire Straits album is fantastic and when the sound is pumped through a pair of high quality speakers it's like having Mark Knopfler in the same room. Strongly recommend this album to Dire Straits fans - for a small outlay you get 2 quality vinyl albums that will last a lifetime.
