Often overlooked and perhaps not regarded as one of the best of Black Sabbath's works, this CD is certainly undervalued. The combination of Iommi's riff creating brilliance along with Butler's tight blues influenced bass lines makes this a musical masterpiece. Add Dio's amazing vocal range and control, and this should go down in history as one of the best Metal albums of its era. The brilliant solos played on Iommi's Old Boy SG fitted with John Diggins designed pick-ups creates a near spine tingling experience. And complex Bass lines played by Terrance 'Geezer' Butler shows these players at perhaps the peak of their genius. As a 2 CD Set comprised of the Mob Rules album and 14 tracks from Sabbath's live performance at Hammersmith Odeon London on New Years Eve 1981, it represents great value for the Sabbath collector or any appreciator of brilliant musical talent. You will listen to it again and again. Enjoy. Read full review
