I bought the S5511T about a month ago as a phone that would be strong enough to endure my work environment without having to buy new cases or covers all the time. The fact that its a flip type with minimal exterior screenage means so far i have in no way damaged the main screen on number pad etc. In fact i'm amazed to how strong it is. The features are in no way suited to a high tech kinda person and the system is pretty much designed especially for the Telstra network, but I run with Optus and I only need to talk and text and have the phone withstand shop shock so over i am happy. And the price is considerably low too.
Bought it for my father and great for him. He wanted a flip phone that required 3G and this phone had it all. It is clear, has the features he requires and easy to use.
fits perfect in hand or pocket, tough reliable. easy to use buttons for geriatric hands. simple, straightforward, great rural coverage, and even takes good photos! what more could you want?

An extremely compact, robust, useful 'dumb phone' with great coverage & ideal for those who just want to be able to make & receive calls & texts + take the occasional photo.

I find the phone design quite pleasant. My biggest complaint is that it does not have a direct patch lead connection for an external aerial. My other problem is the size of the print in the instruction manual and not enough individual settings explained for various functions otherwise happy.
