An easy solution to a couple of small problems
My 1999 Honda Goldwing Aspencade is equipped with a cruise control. Like a car, it is supposed to disengage whenever the brakes are applied. After 17 years, the cruise control was sluggish to engage when first turned on. I wasn't sure why, but it would eventually come on and function normally. Later, I noticed my foot brake pedal would activate the brake lights, but he hand brake lever would not. Now, I had to find out why because it was a safety issue. After some research, I learned that my problems were about to be solved by simply ordering this switch module. It is a Honda OEM part, and it houses two micro switches. One is for the cruise control and one is for the brake lights. I installed the new switch and all the problems went away. The switch was installed in less than 5 minutes, requiring one screw to be removed and four electrical spade connectors to be transferred one at a time from the old switch to the new one. I highly recommend this part to anyone having issues with either the cruise control or your front brake lever activation, or both (like me). It was the easiest fix I have ever done, and it was under $15.00 delivered.

No cruise control
No cruise control due to the front brake light staying on and having to flick the lever back to deactivate the switch ! Tiny , tiny faulty I'd not even noticed ! Switch replaced ( 4 way connection not 2 ) genuine Honda only I believe ?? ( £20 odd delivered from USA) cruise control reinstated , very pleased indeed

Finally had to replace my 22 year old switch - 2 minutes - done
My 22-year-old original switch stopped working - it's kind of important ot have brake lights so I ordered and had this perfect replacement in a couple days. It literally took about 2 minutes to install and only a screwdriver was required. Worked perfectly, thought it would but getting in a timely manner was critical for me.

Cruise control works now!
My Gold Wing cruise was inop, and this little switch was the reason why! I found that if I lifted up just slightly on the front brake lever, the cruise would sometimes work, but was intermittent. I replaced this switch, and now it works reliably. Excellent part, and cheap too!
