This is the third book I have read by Morrell. This book starts with slight intrigue and the reader waits for more details only to find that the book becomes bogged down and the plot does not move forward very quickly. Too much time (pages) is spent in the details of the chase and survival. The foe (antagonist) is not fully developed and I found it difficult to follow the conversation/thoughts of the main character. In my opinion the book just never flowed well. It has several peeks in the plot but they are too far apart to hold interest. This is his second book so don't give up on Morrell but skip this one.
