I was able to read every word out loud of another of Albert's books to my daughter (one from the Beatrix Potter Cottage Tales), so I was very disappointed to find the "F word" twice in the first chapter of Time of Death. Otherwise, the author is a very good writer.
I am a long time fan of the China Bayles character. I had misplaced my paper back of this but have a hard copy I don’t want to wear out. This particular book gives us the main character at her earliest times in Pecan Springs before her life evolves as is natural over time.
