For a reliable set of car audio/speakers that is inexpensive but reliable, the Alpine SPE-6000 type of speaker makes for a great sound system. A type-E Alpine speaker, the SPE-6000 is the middle range product amongst three type-E speakers namely: SPE-5000 (5.25 inches), SPE-6000 (6.5 inches) and SPE-6090 (6x9 inches). Type-E speakers are classified into three sizes and are made to fit a variety of vehicles. Type-E speakers are made out of three quarter of an inch silk soft dome tweeter technology and not the more conventional cone-type of tweeters. With soft dome tweeters, the sound quality is more defined and you get a more clarity when listening to music or watching a video. Its tweeter is also made of the Neodymium magnet material giving off a great and clean audio. Alpine SPE-6000 coaxial 2-way car speakers come in a dark, solid protective grill creating a sleek mesh grill that is more aesthetically-appealing compared to the regular factory speakers and accessories you see in the market. It is built with reinforced glass fiber frame at the back with built-in holes giving you great flexibility in mounting various type-E car accessories to different vehicles. It is non-enclosed with a top mounting depth of 2.37 inches. The 6.5-inches Alpine SPE-6000 2-way car speaker is made out of a polypropylene cone within, enabling it to give off a rich bass sound quality output. The woofer comes with polypropylene cone pearl mica injection material with a square voice coil wire type. The subwoofer has a magnet that’s built from ferrite and it is framed with an injection mold. This helps widen the magnetic field of the speaker and promote a deep bass response. The RMS power handling capacity of the Alpine SPE-6000 2-way car speaker is 60 watts while its peak power handling capacity is 240 watts; ensuring an impressive sound quality. Its CEA-2031 power rating equivalent is 60 watts. The frequency response of this Alpine car speaker is 68Hz - 20kHz and it has an impedance of 4 Ohms and an 88.5dB/W(1m) sensitivity.
