Those with a set of Panasonic KX-TGA4130 series phone models now have the ability to increase their use. Expand your current cordless system with the Panasonic KX-TGA410 expansion handset. Using only a single base and your regular jack, you can keep a cordless phone in every room. No longer will you need to run when the phone rings in the hopes of catching it before the answering machine does. This 1.9 GHz single-line cordless device features a keypad with large buttons that are easy to see and operate. The backlit display on the keypad allows for easy dialing even in a dark room. The LCD screen is easy to read with large digits, and it will show caller ID information even when you're on the line with someone else. A call history can be scrolled through on every handset. The screen is also backlit with an amber color and will display the name and phone number of the person calling you. The Panasonic KX-TGA410 features an option to block phone numbers in order to prevent unwanted, harassing, or otherwise annoying calls. The device's address book can store up to 50 names and numbers, allowing for easy lookup and dialing. The caller ID features an optional subscription plan that allows for the device to speak the name and number of the person calling. A mute function on the handset allows you to make yourself silent when necessary. You can also put the caller on hold if you have to step away for a few moments. You can prevent hisses, distortion, and other issues that may reduce your telephone experience. The DECT 6.0 Plus technology on the Panasonic handset gives improved range without needing a power boost. The proprietary DECT feature for wireless phones allows for excellent sound quality without interference. Another feature is the ability to use an Internet service to receive or send calls. When the base is connected to compatible VOIP services, the Panasonic handset will have access to the same protocol.The cordless Panasonic KX-TGA410 handset has multiple ringtone options, allowing for personal customization of each unit. With adjustable ringer volume, you can make it ring as loudly or as softly as you want. When you need to get in touch with someone in the same house, you can use the device as a handset-to-handset intercom. You can multi-task by making conference calls with up to four people at a time and not be tied to a cord. With speakerphone, you can keep the device away from your head and free your hands for other uses. With dimensions of only 1.2 by 2 by 6.4 inches, the KX-TGA410 cordless phone will fit in anyone's hands. Weighing in at only 4.8 ounces, the handset is light enough to be easily held and remain comfortable during one-handed use. The cordless accessory for the Panasonic does not require a base, so it can remain free from any wires. Slightly worn but acceptable
Handset works fine and the price is reasonable. It has signs of wear but then - it's used! I doubt for $20 that "refurbished" means much more than making sure it works but that's fine if, like me, you're using the handset as a way to squeeze a little more time out of your otherwise great Panasonic phone system. Phone is just fine thus far after 2 weeks.
