Easier and better food with Salad Shooter!
I have worn out 2 of these in the last 30 years. I have canned and frozen many things that I could do so much faster and easier with the Salad Shooter! My family loves hash brown potates and it is so easy with this machine! I make a cucumber salad that I double for funerals dinners and it goes so fast with this machine and they don't have leftovers because the vegetables are nic and uniform and flavors go through it bettr. Insecured food chute
The salad shooter does the job of shredding and slicing the vegetables. However, the food chute does not stay in place when one tries to push the vegetable (like potatoes, carrots etc.) down during the shredding/slicing operation. There is no mechanism in the design to hold and secure the food chute properly in place, resulting it may flip to the left or right side. My favorite electric kitchen appliance for many years
Your advertising is off. I use it for almost everything but salad. I use it for cheesy bread, pizza, tacos, carrot cake etc. Get the men's attention. They see salad on the box and they walk away. Show pics of stuff guys like to catch their attention so they might buy it as a gift. If this helps I would appreciate a fine shredder attachment that used to be included. Time saver
The Presto Salad Shooter plus is a handy device in the kitchen, especially for the holidays. There are several cones for it from fine grating/shredding to slicing. Much faster than manually chopping, slicing, grating, etc. and clean up is fast and easy. I started with a simple salad shooter which was great, but this one is so much faster and better. Makes all those special salads, desserts and side dishes a breeze for the holidays; however, I find uses for mine all year through. Nice kitchen tool

It works well but it is noisy
I had one of these many years ago and it got lost when we moved our home. These things work great, but they are noisy. It's only for a minute or two, so it's no big deal, and it saves lots of time when making a large amount of salad for a party. I love it
I used to have a SaladShooter years ago, but it got lost in a move (along with the discs for my KitchenAid 670), so I've been slicing, shredding and grating stuff by hand for the last few years. Well, I finally got sick and tired of skinning my fingers on the box grater, and ordered the Pro SaladShooter. It's even better than my old one, and I've already used it to make hash brown potatoes, crinkle cut cucumbers for bread & butter pickles, and now that zucchini season is upon us, I will be grating a TON of zucchini for zucchini bread and other zucchini delicacies. It's small enough to fit easily in a cabinet. The only thing they could do better is to have some kind of storage caddy for all the cones. I'm using a fabric draw-tie bag that came with an insulated water bottle, and they all fit perfectly. Keeps them all in one place.

The design fault is: It does not cut cleanly through eg. Celery stick or Cucumber. It cuts within a mm or two of the back leaving a
