Works great
Love the remote for turning the fire on and off. Flame hight adjustment and fan control. The thermostat feature does not work very good so I don’t use it for that.

Works great, not entirely intuitive, thermostat allows temperature to vary widely
Setup and installation was easy; just plugged in the controller and paired the remote. The remote is not entirely intuitive to program. I have to keep going back to the instructions. One problem is that the display dims and only lights up if you press the on/off switch, which sometimes (not always) turns the fireplace on/off, but you can't tell what it is going to do until you press the button to get the display to light up. All in all, I'm pretty happy with it; it gives much greater control over the fireplace than the simple remote, and the thermostat function works.
