Bilstein 4600 as good as advertised!
Upgraded shocks on a 1995 Chevrolet Suburban K1500-4wd. Previous owner had a 3" lift that killed the old shocks. Installed the Bilstein 4600's and returned the Suburban to stock height to reduce body roll and to tow better. The Bilsteins transformed the ride. Bumps are smoothed out and there is no bounce when hitting small rises (e.g. at over passes and in turns on the interstate) at highway speed. I look forward to driving the Suburban now, instead of dreading it.

Bilstein 4600 Front and Rear
I installed Bilstein 4600 on the front and rear of my 1999 GMC Suburban K1500 4x4. The truck had 167000 miles on an all original suspension minus new "take-off" 2017 model 18" Chevrolet Tahoe wheels and Michelin tires with zero miles installed at the same time and the $20 NAPA shocks that were replaced. I did this the night before a 1300 mile trip from Illinois to Key West, FL. The improvement in ride quality was quite noticeable immediately. Not a firm ride and not too soft. For the most part, a good overall ride. I wish I had had the time to replace all the suspension bushings at the same time to better judge the shocks true improvement. Ride quality over bumps and rough roads in much improved with side sway also improved. K1500 half ton 4x4 Suburbans are under-braked and under-suspensioned from the factory in my opinion. I don't know that ANY stock replacement shock will fix the ride on it completely. A good improvement though. I put 3000 miles on my Suburban since install of these shocks and they and the tires/wheels are doing great.
