Harmony remotes easy to program and use
This Harmony 350 Universal Remote was easy to program for my tv using the learning mode as my tv was not listed. all of the functions of the original remote transferred to the Harmony 350, however some of the button descriptions were different due to manufacturers choice. programming other devices were super easy as they were available on the logitech listed devices. would recomend logitech harmony remotes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Really poor effort Logitech
I have used several Logitech Harmony remotes over the years and they have been good. This one is terrible! I don't know if it is this model, or they just produce poor quality now days. The buttons need to be pushed much more firmly than any other I have used. The programming software has lost functionality and the macro function is not configurable. Just Perfect
The Harmony remotes are the only ones that can work my obscure brand of tv. I have tried many imitators but none have been able to work except the Harmony range. This model is my preferred model due to the size and layout of the featured buttons. A brilliant device to have in your home.
This is the second Logitech remote control that we have owned. The first one lasted around 5 years and due to our neglect, it went to heaven. This new one while an excellent device wasn't as easy to program, but that was fixed for us - online by Logitech. The Harmony 350 Universal Remote was easy to program & connect with my Set top box. I was able to follow the instructions easily, and could find any extra information easily on Google. A Universal Remote That Works!
Needed a better-designed remote than came with the Laser Blu-Ray player. Went to Hardley Normal's - salesman panned universal remotes as useless. Online search revealed the Logitech series of remotes. Own other Logitech products and they 'just work'. Programming while sounding complex couldn't be simpler although the software written for Mac OSX is a tad klunky. The remote does everything I need it to do. Only use it on the Blu-Ray player so cannot comment on its usefulness with other machines. The follow-up help from Logitech is the best in the business - I needed to ask them a question and they more than fulfilled my request. A universal remote that actually works as expected.
I have bought universal remotes before and they have proven to be useless only ever having some features functional and/or not compatible with my device. The Logitech Harmony 350 works on all functions with all my devices. The fact that it can load up the software for your device from the Harmony website and also synchronise with your existing remote to customise buttons for any additional functions means that it is a complete replacement remote. I'm primarily using it on a Magic TV PVR, a great unit that is no longer made and for which genuine factory remotes are no longer available. The remote functions are many and complex but the Logitech Harmony 350 covers them all 'logically'. If you are considering a universal remote I highly recommend this one - it works.
