It works fine on my ford explorer 2013, but unfortunately, its not plug and play as they mentioned, you need to splice two wires. The whole process to install it took me 2 hours as I had to remove some covers to reach for the ignition wires. The dealer responded to my clarifications very quickly (whether phone or messgae on eBay itself) and the technician is knowledgable. Overall I recommend this product and dealer for sure.

Installed on a 2013 Ford F150 STX What I liked: - Component quality - Remote start without a dealer visit - You can unlock and open the doors and the truck stays running - Inserting the key, turning to the on position will keep the truck running - Tech support The install: The description when I purchased this item says, no splicing, no disassembly, and can be done in as little as 5 minutes. My install required splicing two wires into the OBDII harness, disassembling part of the dash to access the wiring harness on the key module, and took about an hour and a half to complete. I removed the kick panel to make it easier to route and access the column covers. Simple tools were required for my application. The wiring diagram provided was good, but more information about what needs to be removed or the location of the plugs would help. The programming was pretty straight forward, but I did have to call tech support for some assistance. The tech I spoke with was knowledgeable and got me an answer quick. Overall I was very pleased with the purchase, and didn't mind spending some time to do the install. I've only had it a few weeks now but used it enough that I'm glad I got it. Works fine with both my key fobs. Expect to spend more than 5 minutes. Read full review

Needed to splice into two wires and just plug in the harness, Takes less than an hour to install and comes with good directions.. I do recommend this product.

Instructions were clear and it installed in about 15 minutes (Had to remove a few dash panel pieces). Wiring harness was made of quality materials and had a protective mesh to avoid abrasion on under-dash metal. Functions just as described and from a reasonable distance from the car. It is great that the horn honks to let you know the device is receiving the signal.

Bought the first starter from JSAlarms on ebay for my wife's 2015 ford fusion for Christmas 2020, she was so excited I was putting it on that morning, and southern indiana that morning it was about 10 degrees out, but luckily the starter was very simple to install on her car, just watch the install video a few times before the install and it was really quite simple... the trick is is once you start, complete all the steps as quick as you can as far as the programming goes. Works perfect. I was so happy with hers I bought one for my 2014 f150, same thing, video a few times before install, hurry thru the programming as quick as you can and boom, it was really that simple. Love it on my truck for these cold, winter mornings. Will be ordering one soon for my 2016 ford edge and possibly one for my sons 2014 ford fusion. Thank you JSAlarms for making these and making them simple to install.Read full review
