What is protection worth?
What a small amount to pay to help the life of your engine. It's like having a little insurance. Also, I think it will help resale the car. Oil filter magnet
I have known about sub-Dimension metal particles for a very long time and have been using the best magnets available. Modern rare metal/ceramic magnets are far more efficient and will pull the smallest metal particles out of the engine oil as it passes through the oil filter - especially those that are too small for a Mobile 1 oil filter to stop. Engine life is drastically extended if abrasive and destructive steel metal particles are pulled from the oil. My 2003 Chevy Avalanche has about 255,600 miles on it and still uses Mobil 1. At her regular15,000 mile oil change she is usually only about a 1/2 qt low. An absolute must if you like to keep your car running for a long time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
