Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Digital Cameras
I've used different SLR cameras. For taking pictures in low light, this one is absolutely the best one. My problem with the other brand cameras were the shutter speed. Canon camera's shutter speeds are amazing even in the low light. Cannon is absolutely the best cameras there are.

The camera for the price takes decent pictures. I was happy because Canon has such vast lens collection to choose from to help with this camera's picture taking capability.

The only thing I don't like about this camera is that it doesn't do video. It has above average picture quality for a camera of this size and with the lower megapixels. It's small enough and light enough. Overall, I would say a great camera for the money for a beginner to intermediate photographer.
I began my photography career with this camera and I still break it out on odd occasions for old time sake. I learned how to use the manual mode and how to get out of auto with this camera then decided to do photography for a living so stepped up to the 550D which I still use today and my go to camera is my 6D full frame camera I learned the difference between lenses and how to use them but although my office now looks like a camera store with the addition of the canon 90D a few weeks ago I won’t part with any of them I’ve learned more about lenses and cameras than I did in my course by using these and discovering what works for me so now I’m 4 cameras and 9 lenses wiser I love my 1000D and it still takes great quality photos

I used to have a Canon EOS Rebel 300D and then upgraded to this Canon EOS Rebel 1000D. I am very happy with the upgrade. The new camera has a lot more features and is more modern and easier to use than my other camera. I mostly wanted this camera so I could take pictures to use as references photos for my oil and acrylic paintings.
I purchased this Canon EOS Rebel XS, with 10 mp, as my first SLR camera. I've only had point and shoots before and didn't want to spend the money on a current model Canon SLR with much higher mp at a cost of around $500. At less than $150 this excellent condition camera was a bargain. The newer model would produce better very large enlargements but that is not my need. I never print over 8x10's and the 10 mp does a great job. The camera is very simple to use particularly after watching a couple of online videos. The quality of the pics is great.

I know nothing about cameras I bought this for my 14 year old grandson who asked for a cannon camera for Christmas so this one looked too be in very good condition for a young teenager’s first good camera he loves it so I say it was a great buy for the price so if you’re looking to buy a teenager an expensive camera buy a good used one first too make sure they’re not just use it a few times and forget about it.

great camera overall. I use it for Astrophotography connected to a large telescope. only caveat i have...is I wish it would record video directly to the SD card...but it has to be connected to a computer/laptop to record any video.
