The kids (4yrs & 5 1/2 yrs) use these knives for eating their meals with. No damage to themselves, no problems! And the best thing is they're learning to cut their food with proper, sharp knives that don't mangle their food, whilst learning how to handle sharp objects safely. It's much easier for them to cut with sharp knives than blunt ones! And if we adults need to use the knives on the odd occasion, they're sharp and good to cut with. Oh, and dishwasher safe is awesome!
