Great product, Good Quality root bark powder.
Was told by an old timer that the stains for bamboo fishing rods was root bark powder and other naturally found organic compounds from this builder. Made stain old school way and simply boiled it in DI h2O. Then cheated a little with a solvent and got a beautiful red-magenta stain that highlights every stress fracture, grain, and imperfection in the bamboo. Then hit it with a laquer coat and is now show room ready. All inscriptions are still bold and well preserved. Next one I have to re wrap a few eye's, luckily I have the builders kit, was my Grandfathers best friend. Going to use more rbp and less water with a different solvent. Will see what comes of it,another one of a kind stain. Great Stuff. Will need some more in the near future and will purchase from them. It arrives fast in a vacuum sealed bag. I've always been able to extract plenty of dye (and some goo). The extracted dye is of the best obtainable quality and of sufficient strength to break through hyperspace... of color that is...
