Just what I needed so my spouse can still get my attention
These are very lightweight and comfortable. I wish the cord was 6 inches longer. I have a pair of noise cancelling Sony headphones that I use for serious music listening. Problem is I cannot hear anything in the outside world with those on. This is not good if my spouse needs to get my attention, which is important to me. So, with these on I can still hear what is going on around me provided it is of sufficient volume. The sound is clean but the highs seem a bit thin and the bass, while you can hear it and it is tight, is of low volume. There is just not much low end. These are good for listening to Youtube videos and Netflix and such, but my other Sony noise cancelling headphones are much more suited for serious music listening. I am quite happy with them because they do fit my need.

This style of Sony headphones is not like the other exact same style of Sony headphones that I've bought in the past. They are not the real deal but still ok. The sound quality is not as good but they are lightweight.

Above & Beyond Expectations
This Sony item went above & beyond with this style cause just this week purchased 2 other Koss head-sets B.U.T. the sound quality of these Sony blows the others out of the water !! Guess if I would have stayed with the Koss then I would have never known better but I have a tuned ear & knew there was better so look no further & the air light on my head you almost forget they are there & at night I can hear things going on around me when all else is sleeping . I put the other head-phones in the drawer till can give away to somebody else down the road ..
